A view from Jeanneb

Out and About.

A windy and slightly damp morning but we still went out and about for our exercise.
Before that I gave PE with Joe Wicks a try. Grace has been doing it with Eda since it started and many schools are starting their day with it which is great.
Yesterday it had been going 10 minutes and he hadn’t started so we went out for our walk. Today I found it a bit much, though I may dip in again to do bits of it like the warm ups.
I think my legs will feel it tomorrow.
We walked along the road out of the village, not a route we often do on foot as the pavement is narrow and traffic on the road too busy. Less traffic of course at the moment but they seem to be doing very fast.
We passed the Woodbank Garden centre and I rather liked this sign.  Note the empty car park. Such a shame so many plants are going to be wasted we hear.
One advantage of walking along the road is that you can take in sights that you usually pass quickly in the car or on the bus.
Lots of horses in the fields and buds on the Hawthorne alongside the road but sadly also lots of rubbish over the wall! When we reached the top of Mouse Wood there was rather more than the usual litter - obviously fly tipped! (a toilet)
Nicer sights as we got into the St Ives Estate, particularly the daffodils by the entrance gate.
No road closed sign today but we were disappointed to see that the resurfacing we saw on Monday was just the usual Council ‘patching up!’
Back in the village we called into the other village shop where we got some good coffee grounds and some tonic water. We only have coffee once a day but we like it to be good. Gone through it quickly lately which shows how much we are used to having a coffee whilst we are out and about in normal times.

Keep looking for the rainbow folks and stay safe.
