April's Pink Moon!

2°C  -  Feels like -3°C  -  16 mph W Wind Speed  -  25 mph Gusts  -  Bright Moon.  Couldn't resist this blip just after midnight!  When full -  April 7th  -  it will be the brightest and the nearest to Earth this year.  The American Native American's called it the Pink Full Moon because it coincided with the blooming of the Pink Creeping Phlox.  Other names are the Sprouting Grass Full Moon, the Egg Full Moon, and the Fish Full Moon.  You can read all about it HERE!  Of course, the Moon isn't really pink  -  I just faffed about with it for fun.  You can see my actual straight out of the camera shot in my Extra.
