Surprise surprise

Wandering by this ruined castle (Saltcoats Castle), I spotted that I could get a vaguely interesting shot of a bit of it through the old window of a house built from some of its stones.

Only when I got it on the computer did I notice the kestrel. I guess that's why all the photogenic crows flew away. Must get back to the optician....

Quiet day today, mostly just eating Toblerone.
