What day is it?

A greyish day.
We went up to Abbey House because it's the only place Fletch  can be let off the lead and run free safely.  Apart from a couple with a dog in the distance we were the only ones there.
The grounds are still neat and tidy and we got chatting ( from a safe distance ) to the gardener who is continuing  to work there .

We will have to think carefully about what jobs we can do in the garden over the next few weeks as the Brown bin collections are cancelled for now.

I got a phone call from friends who are on medication and in their mid 70s and are self isolating. They seem to be coping really well. Have ordered plenty of food from relatively local shops that will deliver and have discovered Amazon deliveries.

A quick nip into the Coop for me to get a bit of food and a bottle of fizz to celebrate our House Anniversary . 35 years since we moved in .

My brother and wife were planning to come up for a visit tomorrow but that of course is cancelled.

I spent sometime editing photos for a mini collaboration project and then felt quite aimless.

Walked Fletch up to the banking by the dock at teatime.  A cool breeze so only a few people

While poking about in the corner cupboard I came across a bag of Lebkuchen. Hidden there since last November.  Sell by date March 1st but unopened.. so what the heck I've eaten some.  Felt like Christmas
