Deserted

The neighbours washing was dancing briskly in the breeze so we expected it to be windy on the beach.. but it wasnt. Hat , scarf and gloves removed!

As its Easter Saturday we expected to see more people but we had the place to ourselves. Maybe it's because most people tend to walk on the beach on Walney or maybe it was because the high tides that we' ve had have  covered the foreshore in a thick layer of cockle shells although at the far end there were few shells, just sand and pools.
Its possible to walk on for several miles along the beach, weather and tide permitting  but these pools are usually our tuning point. As always, Fletch had a good sniff of everything but didnt find any jelly fish this time!

Back home and time to kill so sat on the laptop to download some photos from Google Cloud , in particular the ones that I've done some editing / post processing that I dont want to lose.
It took a while and it didnt help that my Firewall was doing its monthly scan and kept sending messages every few minutes  as it checked each file. It's a Window 7 so cant cope with too much happening at once.   A bit of confusion to find some photos were put into a zipped  file but I worked out why and all the photos are now downloaded. It may be an old laptop but is got plenty of storage space.

It's our House Anniversary today. 36 years since we moved in! How time flies!

Happy Easter everyone xx
