A Weed By Any Other Name...

This is most likely Senecio vulgaris, known commonly as groundsel, ragwort and old-man-in-the-spring. It's a member of the daisy family and native to Europe and happily naturalized in the U.S. I think that it's a pretty little plant and the pollinators like it as well!
These are desperate financial times for many people. I sincerely hope that you and yours are not among them. As we wisely 'stay at home', many of us are wondering what we can do to help others. In our area we have several Food Banks which do a very commendable job of helping folks feed their families. If you wish to donate locally, that might be a good place to begin. On a more world-wide level, one of my favorite organizations is
World Central Kitchen. Their teams of chefs and food prep experts head to where ever they are needed after natural disasters.  Do click on the above link to learn more about this amazing organization!
Stay Safe and Be Well! :)
