Ash Sidelight

Not as warm as yesterday, but sunny in the afternoon. I was struck by this group of ash trees defined by strong sidelight as the sun dropped lower in the sky. The light skimmed over the top of the reeds creating a carpet of warm light that was uplifting.

It's difficult to avoid getting too excited about the light and remember to look for an interesting subject. Maybe not the best image, but the strong verticality of the trunks gives it some structure at least.

Catching up, today I also posted Separation for yesterday.
