The Old Forge (Monday 6th April 2020)

The brighter days that we have had since I blipped these "black" hyacinths a week ago has had quite an effect, and they are now close to living up to their name of Midnight Mystic.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Nirvana - Lithium (2009)
In the sixties there was a duo called Nirvana. They recorded a couple of albums, appeared on John Peel's Top Gear and had a couple of singles, including Tiny Goddess, a minor hit that was later recorded by Françoise Hardy in French, Italian and English.
Later, of course, a grunge band from Seattle featuring Kurt Cobain became massively successful. So here, as a novelty, are the sixties Nirvana, performing the grunge Nirvana's Lithium. It's not as good as the original, or as good as Tiny Goddess.
