Alfred Mynn and the White Horse

On Sunday I posted a blip of Alfred Mynn's grave in St Mary's Church, Thurnham. I mentioned he was commemorated in various places around the village. Here he is on the village sign which is on the green adjacent to the 16th C White Horse Inn.

It was another beautiful day, warm with a cooling north easterly breeze which made walking in the lanes to around the Pilgrims Way very pleasant. However, we could do with some rain and there's precious little evidence in the forecast.

Susan was sew sewing in the studio this afternoon while I cleaned and painted the section of fencing that hides our compost bins. This was followed by sweeping out the garage and hoovering the mats that are on the floor. All these jobs which I usually have to scrabble around to find time to do and then often resent spending time doing them are now rather satisfying.

Did the Joe Wicks workout this morning, it's getting harder and easier at the same time. Better able to do the exercises, which is the easy bit and putting more into each exercise which is the hard bit. Green gym tomorrow at the allotment!
