Life through the lens...

Woody Woodpecker

His drumming woke us up at 6.45am. Or rather woke Mr C who then woke me.
Fortunately he stayed until I got my camera.
Not the best of photos, taken through the bedroom window. However such a rare occurrence that I had to use it for my Blip today.

Still warm although dull.
As we went on our walk today we were surprised to see a man had climbed up the sycamore trees, and was knocking out the nests in the rookery.
They were at the bottom of a garden, and so I presume the owners were fed up of the noise.
Not sure if this is allowed.

We called for Mr C’s prescription on the way home. Only one person was stood outside the chemists. After a couple of minutes a young girl , who was very well protected with PPE, came to ask his name and then brought out the prescription. Unfortunately one lot of tablets were missing, so needed a phone call to the doctors , who apologised as it was their mistake. Back tomorrow to pick them up.

Our neighbour rang us to say she was in M&S, did we need anything. So I asked her to get a large box of chocolates, and gave these to our son when he brought our weekly order from the farm shop.
He said today it was extremely busy, with a long queue. May be because it is Easter Weekend.
Just a little “thank you “ for all they have done for us.

Do remember everyone that although it is Easter,

STAY AT HOME.

We can all celebrate when this is over.

Take care, stay safe, and keep smiling.
