Easter Tree

Thank you for the responses to my query yesterday about the discrepancies in the UK's data compared with other countries. All very helpful and insightful. There are lies, damn lies and statistics! We seem to be testing less than other countries. I also share the view of blippers who ration their access to daily news bulletins. I did listen to Emily Matlis on the BBC site, she made some interesting observations.

Joe Wicks again this morning, Thursday's session which was 10 lots 30 seconds exercises followed by 30 seconds rest then the same 10 for 40 seconds with 20 second rests. We'll do Friday's session on Monday just to be different.

By way of a change, we stayed in this morning. I was painting fence panels Susan did some Rock Choir tutorials and played the guitar. Anything that's standing still outside gets a coat of paint, some get two. The tool shed and the studio are next on the list as it looks as if this fine weather is likely to continue.

We walked this afternoon again along the lanes leading up to and along the foot of the North Downs. The lack of traffic has opened up the area to walking so there were quite a few people about, many of them cycling too.

Today's blip is from Detling. It's uplifting, fun and shows a sense of optimism and rebirth that characterises Easter. Here we are, one of the best Easters for great weather and we are having to enjoy it the best we can. Usually, Easter can be cold and wet!

Stay safe and well and enjoy your Easter
