La paquerette - or the little Easter!

Love these little daisies that come up in the lawn In time for Easter!

A day of cooking and then it was the Easter vigil and with the Gloria all the bells rang out in joy at the resurrection of the Lord!  I was watching the Pope so you can imagine the bells of St. Peter's Basilica were great as was the choir!

The bells stop ringing in churches on Maundy Thursday and in certain countries in Europe especially in France it is believed that they go to Rome where the Pope blesses them and then they come home bearing Easter eggs which are of course dropped in the gardens for the children to find!!!!  I think it's a lovely legend!
