Stamp Of Approval!

The Visors are working well after a few hiccups with trying to print two at a time. The 3D printer only likes to print one at a time, but fortunately there isn't much difference in the time it takes to print. I managed to get a singular visor done in just over an hour after applying little tweaks here and there. And an improvement from this design that was sent to me the other day (this one took over an hour and a half). Our neighbour, J, popped over to have a look at why I was going in and out of my garage over that last few days. He certainly approves. And so do the doctors and nurses that have been donated the first few samples. I look set to knock off about 15 a day, with Tuttle Jnr helping with attaching the clear acetate sheets. A4 projector sheets that where all the rage in schools at one point and if you are old enough you will no doubt remember them very well!
There is an amazing buzz amongst the schools in the area who are all trying to do their bit. A crowd funding page has been set up so that the materials can be bought and delivered. Kids are volunteering to assemble various contraptions. The next few weeks are going to be excitingly interesting.
We are all in it together. Stay safe Blippers.
