Chickadee Builds a Nest with LGK's Cat Hair!

I heard my husband saying, "Stop that!" as he stood by the front door. When I looked out, I saw a tiny bird pecking all around. Looking closer, I realized that the bird - a chickadee - was pulling FUZZ from a brush on the porch.

The fuzz belongs to the Little Gray Kitty - my husband brushed some rats out of his fur the last time he was here. The little bird was taking the fuzz to make a nest! What a soft nest it must be, lined with ultra-soft gray cat fuzz.

Yes, it made me smile.   :-)
