The Old Forge (Thursday 16th April 2020)

Several of the trees in the woodland garden are in blossom at the moment, and I went round the garden recording a few of them this afternoon. This sprig is the only bloom so far on the old ailing English Golden Russet apple, still hanging on. The crabapple is also blooming but I'll save that for another day as it is quite similar (to my unskilled eyes at least) but in Extras I include a lilac, with some new maple leaves in the background.
