Flower Friday: ... in the rain

After such a long spell of dry weather the garden really needs today's rain, I am told by Cathy.  Its been raining for most of the day, a nice gentle sprinkling that I suspect the dry ground is soaking up like a sponge.

It being Friday, and the end of the working week (well for Cathy anyway) we've decided upon fish and chips (home made of course) for dinner this evening, so I shall have to get on with that in a second.  In the meantime I'm very much enjoying the live streaming of a video of Pink Floyd's "Pulse" concert on You Tube that Incredibish pointed me at.  Dinner may be a little later than initially planned  ;-)
