Playing catch-up with Blipfoto - it's been a busy couple of days but I'll get back to looking at everyone's photos soon, I hope.

Thursday's walk was the standard circular walk for me at the moment - down towards Underwood Farm Road (where the above photo was taken) then along the Canal to Haggs and back home from there.

The farmer at Underwood has been very busy recently, tilling the soil, mixing in the manure and sowing the seeds for this year's crop. This field, which until recently looked overgrown, is now almost ready for planting. What has also been remarkable since the 'lockdown' started is the number of dry days we have had. I can recall only one day when there has been rain, and even then it was little more than a shower.
