Rodents rule

Fred scooped me out for a morning walk that turned into a bit more of an epic adventure taking in Norwood Park, Crystal Palace Park, Sydenham Woods and Dulwich Park – the longest walk I'd done for ages, but it was much needed. We found paths in the parks that were off the main ways and were enchanting, winding on hardened soil through trees and bluebells. We saw small blue butterflies, speckled woods and even an orang-tip.

This piece of street art is on the side of a building in Crystal Palace.

We walked through an area of Sydenham that's part of the Dulwich Estate, passing blue plaques for John Logie Baird and Francis Pettit Smith, the Peckerman's Wood 1960s housing estate (this piece sheds some light on it), and an unusual house called Six Pillars. Normally, we adventure through central London but LockDown means we adventure closer to home and we're still finding new paths and new treasures.
