HAPPY BIRTHDAY G

G had his Lockdown birthday today.  54 today, he can't believe he's as OLD as 54, in a house where Hubby is 70 and I'm 65 - just a youngster really!!!

We've tried to make it as good a birthday as possible in Lockdown.  He had cards from, his brother, Hubby, myself, my Mum and a friend from London JT.  Luckily I had bought him his presents before Lockdown occurred and he was well chuffed with them.  The two books you can see he loves.  A Saint's I Ain't is a biography of the author of The Saint, Leslie Charteris written by an officianado on the matter called Ian Dickerson and the book on the right is actually a notebook for him to use which I had specially made by a great artist called Will Phoenix.  Will treat and paints the leather covers himself, then etches and paint in the stickman and The Saint logo, then binds them all himself.  He also does copper craft and I have a copper book from him full of Dr Who autographs so love his work.

We're going to give G a nice meal this evening and he's been let off his daily chores for the day - well you have to on your birthday don't you.  In "normal" times we would have taken him to somewhere like The Netherwood or The Villa at Levens for his birthday, but as we can't he he will have to dine at Chez Flavia13!!!

My sister had a lockdown birthday on 4th April too and when things are normal I will be treating her to a Spa Day.

I do really feel sorry for the children who have birthdays at this time as they can't have any parties or friends round or anything like that, that must be hard on them.

Other than G's birthday we've not done anything else today really.

The sun continues to shine.  What's betting when things even start getting back to semi normality that the weather changes.  Ahh well we can at least enjoy it in our walk rounds, gardens and views.

Take care everyone, please stay safe - unlike some of the idiots still trying to drive from places like Huddersfield and Cheshire for a day out in The Lakes!!!!

See you all tomorrow.
