Is it just my perception or are there fewer people out walking now, having given up their unaccustomed strolling? It's good from a virus point of view, but it also means that there's less chance of me being able to chat to a real person... in a socially distanced way of course. 

But I've begun today to think of it as social isolation rather than social distancing, and that's in spite of going to the virtual pub last night and having two phone calls this evening. 

Apparently there's no chance of this ending for probably a year or so.
