Day 29 - Ever so slightly cute

We had a couple of firsts today......first time I took her outside, though I was holding her all the time, fearful of her running off and not knowing her way home; first time she met neighbour J, albeit from a distance.  She has certainly made herself at home which is lovely.....she's heaps more confident though we do still have a few fears to overcome.  We'll continue to work at it.

In COVID news, another mixed day.  Sadly, 2 more lives have been taken by the disease, one lady only in her early sixties which alarmed me.  The much better news was that there were just 2 new confirmed cases and 1 probable case.  The number of active cases is dropping steadily but surely. Lots more positive talk about permissible activities in Level 3 but also lots of talk about the demise of small businesses in particular.
