Extended

I hope you're not getting bored of Green Hairstreaks.

I did just a quick walk along along Moorside today, and back through the pastures a little further down the hill. I found two of these in one of the larger bilberry patches, a few Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Orange-tip. It's relatively unusual for me to see the wings of the hairstreaks so fully extended.

A Red Kite was mewing, the Swallows were swooping and a Little Owl was sleeping (extra).
