Crowded Out

I was busy taking a photo of distant trees in the mist when I became aware of geese floating at the end of the inlet. Turning my attention to the geese, I managed a couple of shots when two ducks came too close to them for comfort. After some verbal gesticulating, the geese decided they needed privacy elsewhere.

I discovered trying to pan at full extension is not easy, but there was only one attempt at this shot. Fortunately the shutter speed was enough to get some sharpness, yet capture a sense of movement. Although I didn't think so at first, I am happy to have caught the action in this image.
