The Corona Diaries, day #44

Cucumbers, confined.
Grown from seed and stuck inside on the window ledge until it's warm enough for them to go out. Another couple of weeks and it should be ok.

Same for us! Edouard Philippe (French PM) spoke to Assemblée today to set out the exit strategy - le déconfinement
If we're good and meet the right targets by 11 May, we'll be allowed out a little bit*, and if we're good again till 2 June, maybe a little bit more!
Looks like we're stuck inside with the cucumbers in the meantime!

*Schools and shops to reopen - schools very gradually and only for certain classes and only if the proper measures can be implemented. To be organised at local level, so we'll see. Shops and markets ok, but no pubs, cafés or restaurants. Individual outdoor sports ok, but not team or indoor sports. No large events (more than 5000 people before September at least), and no private gatherings of more than 10. Trips of over a 100km only permitted for urgent family or business matters.
