I am grateful for ...

These desert marigolds are wild and everywhere right now. We never know where we are going to find them. I thought this looked pretty nestled in with the red sage.

The thumbnail is the nest I found last year. I haven't seen any activity so far.

I finished my job trimming the chaste tree. Had gloves on this time and came away will  all my fingers!

Bunker chased a road runner to the roof of the casita. I heard it mewling for about 15 minutes. Very interesting sounds coming from it. Later I saw one cross the yard with a lizard in its mouth.

I am grateful that today was uneventful.
