Road to nowhere

The council had time to erect a gate before lockdown but the rest of the new bridleway is in abeyance until normal service resumes. Meanwhile, the sapling birches in the field behind are growing enthusiastically; they might find there's more to do than initially planned.

I sanded down and oiled the work surfaces (a job that's been outstanding for some time) whilst LH got some painting done.
