Our local hill showing its iconic shape - plus a bit of necessary local farm machinery.

We chose to go out in the car together to buy some milk from the farm belonging to the above machinery. The milk changes flavour throughout the year and is still full of its natural goodness. Berry needed to remember what the back of the car felt like; she has become very reluctant to actually even get in, so we decided to go the long way home. There are lovely villages to meander through that are close by and we took the opportunity to scan the verges for all sorts of different wildflowers. The ash trees' leaves are just beginning to explode out; they're behind the oak this year so maybe this summer we're only in for a splash.

We needed our mini excursion just for a change of scenery. Met no one face to face but waved a couple of times to various walkers pounding the lanes.
