Wanderings & Witterings

Young at Heart

After watching our recorded church service on Sunday morning I headed down to, along and then under, the Canal to Seabegs Wood where there is a well-preserved section of the Antonine Wall. It's a favourite, if short, there-and-back walk of mine and I was surprised there weren't more people along the Wall. (The Canal, on the other hand, could have been staging the Tour de France given the number of cyclists out.)

Around this time of year, the northern (canal-facing) side of the Wall has a fine covering of bluebells and I dropped down from the main path to take some photographs of them for my daily Blip.

Young at Heart was a 1984 hit for The Bluebells and that provided the title for today's entry. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/e7n53nIBb3g
