Miscelanea #9

I made a big deal about getting back to this series a while back and then promptly ignored it again for almost a year. Now I have extra impetus to get back to it as I'm not certain how many Miscelanea's will survive this difficult time. About half of those that I passed today were closed, but that might well have been because it was a Sunday. I will take a more accurate survey next week when I plan to get this series into double digits.
