Songster

I too felt like singing when I got outside for while on this glorious morning.  The temperature was just about perfect and the breeze was heavenly.  

Hughes Hollow had only a few birders and photographers.  I saw a few prothonotary warblers but wasn't fast or close enough to get a shot.  A photographer that I have run into a few times now showed me a gnatcatcher's nest that he had discovered and while we were watching it. the little blue-gray gnatcatcher flew into it (see extra) and spent some time in the surrounding trees.  

As I walked further on around the wetlands I came across a Merganser with all her little ducklings napping on a log.  It's not the best shot but you will get the idea. So if you get a chance, check out the extras.
