Squirrel

What is it about squirrels that particularly annoys dogs. Flora drew my attention to this one by running round the base of the tree getting worked up. The squirrel of course didn't care. 

I was awake early again after a disturbing dream of the "unprepared for an event" variety. I hadn't planned another early walk but after a cup of tea I felt ready for the beautiful morning. The air is still chilly but the sun is warm. Up to the castle, over the Gowan Hill and round the river. The views from up on the hill were terrific in every direction.

I'm home now with a day of various lockdown delights ahead. I'm so grateful to have reliable technology and a garden.
