On the Trail

We had a longer daily walk locally today as friend Jo has turned her ingenious mind to creating a socially distanced adventure trail.  It consists of ten very well spread checkpoints with picture and word clues.  Those taking part have five days to find the checkpoints.  When you get there, you find a strip of raffle tickets and you simply snip off the one with the highest value.  On Friday we will add up our scores and let Jo know with huge prizes at stake (ha hah, no!)   We returned home ravenous for lunch having found seven.  Tomorrow we go in search of the cave!

As I write the bread is baking and the scent is drifting through the house, yum!

Grandson Euan had a zoom with his daycare classmates today which went down well.  It's good for him to see other young children.  Becky sent through a smashing photo of him 'reading' his Spot book.

There seems to be increasing activity on the roads around us.  I do hope folks are not emerging too soon.....
