The sun had set on Day Forty-two

Quite a mixture at work today. Still plenty of meetings, one was to take part (using zoom) in a Multidisciplinary Team meeting. Covering the colleague who is taking some leave before our locums end their contracts. Registrar supervision. And a bit of time to read a journal article.

Back home with time to have a mostly daylit run along Ponsonby Road. Didn't manage to run all the time, but it was mostly running and only a bit of walking. Some standing still as I waited for a particular art work to be shown again on a bus shelter on Ponsonby Road. It wasn't shown again, but today's extra is a pretty good substitute.

About ten minutes before, and shortly after I had seen the sun dropping very low in the sky, I saw that the almost full moon was in a good position beside the Sky Tower, both being high enough to be catching the orange colour from the sun.

Two newly diagnosed cases today; both from contact with one or more of already known persons with the infection. Most likely that they became infected when we were still at Level 4 lockdown. One more death, of another person from an aged care facility where many had already been sick and died.
