If you go down.......

........to the woods today.

We needed eggs so we decided to take a drive out to Broxa village, whilst there we went for a lovely walk through the forest, the vista had changed since we were there a couple of weeks ago. There’s an abundance of bilberry plants, so another visit late summer is a must.

Carrying on along the forest track we came across this stack of timber, the smell of newly cut wood filled the air. On our way back to the car Stanley found a muddy puddle so he had a wallow, luckily he dried off quite quickly while we had our coffee and carrot cake sitting in the sunshine.

After picking up the eggs we drove through Forge Valley, where we stopped to admire the wild garlic, the smell was over powering .

Back home again we sat out in the sun until dinner time.
