Longlasting chrysanths

Exactly 3 weeks ago to the day (9th) I uploaded a picture of a bunch of chrysanths, manipulated using spherise and matt filters. On the 20th, amazed at how the blooms were still looking so good, I took another picture using a top-down viewpoint with the patio tiles and window reflections framing the composition. Here I am again with the exact same bunch of flowers still looking fabulous!
This time I set up the shot in a corner of the conservatory in natural sunshine. This was coming and going between rapid blustery showers. In the background are glimpsed the roofs of the houses further down the hill, the woodland and an ominous sky. There is no manipulation of the image at all this time in order to show just how perfectly formed the blooms have remained. There was just one damaged flower that I pinched off. This is clear testament to keeping flowers as cold in winter as possible, but obviously not subject to frost. Conditions must have been perfect for them in our unheated conservatory.
