Cupcakes with Mummy

Deb and Allegra making unicorn cupcakes. Fascinating process making the icing - three different colours which you spread into three long shapes onto cling film, roll up and place inside the icing bag and, voilá, out comes icing in three swirling colours. By the evidence on her face, Allegra has sampled the icing already. Here for a close-up of the finished item.

Usual Saturday for me, of cleaning the house, and then went out for croissants for our Sunday breakfast. Mike almost finished plasterboarding the end wall. All the plasterboard now gone from the hall, which he kindly vacuumed while I was out.

Gratefuls:

- walking on my own, hearing the birds and seeing squirrels on one of Sutton's formerly busiest roads
- Sam making a superb dinner of trout and a fricasée of vegetables and chorizo
