Bee-longs right there!

I am delighted to smell the lovely pakalana scent blown on the wind.   The bees have been visiting both the rosemary and the pakalana as its flowers open up.   Another lovely May day in the mid-80degF.

Today, Saturday, is the first digital-only issue of our paper, in their attempt to shave costs.   It's just not the same reading it on screen, similar I'd guess, to e-books vs paper.  The crosswords and other word puzzles sit tantalizingly on my screen.   The paper says that additional puzzles and the like will be available on the back pages of Sunday's paper.   Can't wait for tomorrow  . .

Morning newspaper headlines  :  HAWAII SEES NO NEW CASES FOR FIRST TIME IN 8 WEEKS
The total statewide cases, as of Friday, are 629, with the death toll remaining at 17.

And that's enough of the online news!

Little Richard dies at 87 today.   What fun it was to share his energy.

Stay well, stay inside, and take care, everyone.
