Mono Monday....High Key Outside

This looks right to me, but I really have no idea how to achieve a high key effect, hope it will suffice......climbing roses in bud on the trellis.
A nasty cold wind blowing today, although it is quite a bright day otherwise. Haven't achieved a lot as usual, apart from making my usual pot of curry  and vegetables, this week strawberries soya minced beef !!
The road outside has been closed for approx two weeks for re-surfacing, and the heavy traffic has been diverted, what a blessing, so peaceful.....
