Rabbits Relaxing

Today is another sunny day, with blue skies and puffy clouds. But, the cold wind from the north feels decidedly unpleasant.

I enjoy my walk but I will give gardening a miss.

The wind should change round to the southwest and temperatures look set to rise.

The National Trust for Scotland have issued an appeal for funding from members. February to June is the period of the biggest income, when members renew and, surprisingly, there is the highest flow of visitors.

They have also been unable to let out any of their holiday cottages.

I expect that most of the Members Centres will effectively empty their coffers and hand the money to the NTS.

This is an appeal to keep the ship afloat rather than decide which deck games to buy.

Quite a number of NTS properties are castles. Social Distancing in a Castle is not really on.  Also many of the volunteers are in the same age group as myself. Staffing properties might be problematic.

I have spent quite a bit of the morning offering "sage advice" and trying to find out more information.

Today’s Blipfoto is taken in our guest room bathroom and features frolicking rabbits together with a very laid back bunny enjoying a good soak.

Deliveries from Sainsbury’s are expected today along with a replacement part for the mixing machine. A component of plastic, which should be metal, has failed.
