Purple Detail

My irises are blooming.  I'm so pleased to have this saturated purple in the center of my little garden.  The clump gets a bit larger every year, and this time it's making a real statement.  The peonies are next, maybe in time for the next Tiny Tuesday.

Btw, thanks to all who commented yesterday on their methods for settings in manual versus A or S priority. To me, photography isn't only a creative outlet, which would justify the activity in itself, but it also keeps those brain cells humming.
