Lockdown Day 50 - Buttercups

The most unusual thing that happened today was near its end, when a wren landed on the decking by the back of the house.  Despite their numbers, I don't remember ever seeing one in the garden before.

I was out after breakfast for a walk to the post office and 'Wilko's', needing some supplies to fit a new washing machine that is coming tomorrow.  Our old one must be almost 20 years old but it stopped working properly last week and we've had the amusing experience of wringing out the washing in an attempt to dry it on the line as the spin cycle has not been working.  We did consider a repair, but after discussing with the repair man who fitted a new motor 9 years ago, we decided to put the money for another repair into a new machine.

Other than that it was another 'Groundhog Day', though I did like coming across these buttercups in a local field.

Day Miles: 4.5 miles Total miles: 597.2  miles
