The birds' nest

It's 6 AM and I am checking the hummingbird's nest in a potted plant under the window. The extra shows the nest with the mama.
This nest is very well hidden, you have to crouch down and look up to see the nest. Not easy to take photos. I have to be careful not to scare the bird.
Before that I checked on the widwed site to see what others had posted today, and I am sooo glad I did, because I had written 'portrait' on my blip-calendar (yes, I have one just for blip) and I almost posted a portrait of my husband without him knowing about it. Glad to stay out of trouble.
