Eastern Screech Owl

Birding is a little limited in these days of C-19 travel restrictions and so I am concentrating on my garden and close neighbourhood. What a pleasant surprise to discover this beautiful Eastern Screech Owl getting some rays in an old crab apple tree in my neighbours garden. Totally unexpected - we hear these birds but so rarely actually see them. Photographed from a considerable distance and then I crept away.
