Datura

This plant grows anywhere it wants. It doesn't need nurturing, much water or good soil. This one decided that our backyard would be a good place to live. I am grateful this one chose us! There are several outside the fence that are much bigger. I am enjoying them too. 

I have seen a few gold finches come to the yard. I need to sit for a bit with the camera at hand to catch them. They certainly don't stay in any one place for long, but I am recognizing their sound.
