In the garden

I  headed out into the garden this morning with my new macro lens on the camera to see what I could capture hand-held.  It proved to be quite tricky.  Once I had my subject in focus, the slightest movement (a slight rocking on my feet) sent the image way out of focus.  I managed this photograph, though.  However, when I got it back on to the computer, I realised that it would have been better with a greater depth of field, so I headed out into the garden again to have another go, but the light had changed so that this plant no longer stood out from the background.  I shall have to try again another day.
