Dull day

Books I have just read, am reading or am about to read

I have enjoyed reading Mill on the Floss - again. I have just finished Prodigal Summer and loved it.
I am about to read Dominicana - the only one of the Women’s Prize Shortlist that I have not read (apart from the Hilary Mantel of course).
I am enjoying One More Croissant for the Road, which is actually my daughter’s book. Memories of French holidays and wondering when we will get back. We use Felicity Cloake’s recipes in the Guardian a lot.
I will soon be reading Lady Audley’s Secret for my Victorian Women Writers Course - quite a revelation, scandalous in her time.
When I Lived in Modern Times is the next on the Women’s Prize all time winners - winner in 2000, I am obviously not getting very far with this project.

And in the background is my sewing machine - I have cleaned it ready for some sewing projects.

But have actually spent a lot of time today making photo books. I have several to catch up on.
