Impervious to humans

We always have a blackbird that visits us in the spring and summer. It may be the same one that comes back each year. This year's variant is very calm about sharing the balcony with humans, and allowed me to change my lens and come out the other side of the balcony and photograph him. He spends a fair bit of time on our balcony railing, but he does share the love with other residents.

Today's other excitement was a very early trip to the supermarket, and later a skype with K and C in Dundee, when we compared some cultural highlights. Oh, and Mr A cooked the haddock that came in our box yesterday for our tea, and it was excellent. A much better job with good ingredients than I managed yesterday. I might have to retire (again) from cooking.

So a pretty lazy day all round.
