Breakfast!

Another not so exciting shot, more for the record than for any artistic merit.
A couple of years back we read somewhere that people who were healthy tended to have a more varied diet, eating many different foods. Slightly curious we made lists for a while and were surprised at how many different types of food appeared in our diet. Since we prefer constructing our own food we weren't wildly surprised it was varied but we were amazed as our fruit, veg, nuts list climbed past 40 different items within a week.
As I was getting out breakfast this morning I laid it all out for a photograph - this is the "cereals" section of my breakfast. The stuff in packets is commercial, as are the raisins and the final muesli. Everything else is home-produced. From left to right and top to bottom...
Lingonberry jam, apple purée, blackcurrants, bilberries, kefir (flavoured  with a banana and frozen commercial berries), fil milk (commercial cultured milk), cranberries, pecan nuts, aronia berries, green raisins and dark raisins, walnuts, Jan's home-produced muesli, and commercial muesli.
A large cup of tea and a slice of bread with cheese or marmelade rounds off the first meal of the day.
