Dinner plate

I am thrilled that my paeony has actually flowered this year.  That cold blast of wind and the frosty nights nipped most of the buds so I think this may be the only one. But.... what a beauty!!
It has been a wonderful hot sunny day (almost too hot at 24 degrees at 6pm). Nice also that the builders were not working for most of the day... tomorrow we have an all day concrete pumping day... grim but l can spend my time indoors painting so I am happy.
