Spires

Lupins are one of my favourite garden flowers. I guess they were easy to identify as a child. Growing up I had an after-school, weekend and holiday job on a local nursery where we grew lupins for the cut-flower trade. I grew these from seed last year and they have really taken off. The tops of the flowering spires are approaching five feet high.
